!II MEMORANDUM <br /> TO: PLANNING COMMISSION <br /> FROM: PAUL HARRINGTON, COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR V <br /> DATE: <br /> March 9, 1995 <br /> SUBJECT: DEVELOPMENT REVIEW/PUD AMENDMENT <br /> DYNEX INDUSTRIES, 4751 MUSTANG CIRCLE <br /> Brian Sjoberg, representing Dynex Industries, has made application <br /> with the City for a Development Review/PUD Amendment to allow a <br /> 44 , 000 square foot addition to their existing 16, 320 square foot <br /> facility at 4751 Mustang Circle. <br /> In the late 1980 's, Dynex received approval for a PUD to allow the <br /> phased development of their facility site. That approval allowed <br /> for the facility to be developed in three phases over a period of <br /> approximately 5-10 years. Due to changes in their facility needs, <br /> Dynex has decided to pursue development of their site differently <br /> • than that approved as part of the original PUD. <br /> The current expansion proposal would afford Dynex the opportunity <br /> of "building-out" the site. Plans include leasing portions of the <br /> expansion areas to outside tenants until such time as Dynex has a <br /> need for those areas. This practice is allowed under the <br /> classification of a PUD and is similar in operation to the Mounds <br /> View Business Park. <br /> Staff has reviewed the plans submitted as a part of this <br /> application and found them to be in conformance with applicable <br /> sections of the Municipal Code. Results of the Engineer' s review <br /> will be available Wednesday Evening. <br /> If you have any questions, please give me a call. <br />
