• Mounds View Planning Commission August 3, 1995 <br /> Regular Meeting Page 6 <br /> Chair Peterson stated that, according to the information he <br /> read, TIF financing is not openly prohibited. <br /> Commissioner Ruggles expressed his concern about safety <br /> on the bridge. The Planning Commission briefly discussed <br /> this issue. They also discussed construction design to <br /> accommodate wheel chair use. They also noted where other <br /> similar bridges are located in the metro area and it was <br /> mentioned that most major highways with pedestrian use has <br /> a bridge of this type. <br /> It was mentioned that several residents of the Silver Lake <br /> Woods townhomes and Wildwood manor have expressed <br /> their desire for the bridge. <br /> discussed this issue. They also discussed construction design <br /> to accommodate wheel chair use.
