j. Temporary sign. Temporary signs are permitted as regulated in Section 9-140. <br /> SECTION 9-080. COMMERCIAL ZONING DISTRICTS, B-3 <br /> • <br /> a. Ground sign. One (1) ground sign is permitted per street frontage. Such sign <br /> shall not exceed sixty-four (64) square feet in area and shall not exceed twenty <br /> (20) feet in height and shall be set back ten (10) feet from any street right-of- <br /> way line. A freeway ground sign shall not exceed one hundred seventy (170) <br /> • feet in area and not exceed thirty-five (35) feet in height. On each street side of <br /> less than one hundred (100) feet, one ground sign not exceeding twelve (12) <br /> square feet in area shall be permitted. <br /> b. .Wall sign. One (1) wall sign is permitted per street frontage. Such sign shall <br /> not exceed forty (40) percent of the selected signabie area or two hundred (200) <br /> square feet in area, whichever is less. Signable area is an area of a building <br /> free of windows or doors. The maximum size of the selected signable area is <br /> determined by calculating the number of square feet which are enclosed by an <br /> imaginary rectangle around this area. <br /> c. Multiple occupancy building. See regulations under Section 9-110. <br /> d. Building sites not abutting a street. See regulations under Section 9-120. <br /> e. Off-street parking sing. A wall sign may be displayed on the side or rear.of a <br /> :building adjacent to an off-street parking area if the off-street parking area has 4, <br /> five (5) or more parking stalls and such stalls are on the premises. In no case <br /> shall the size of a permitted wall sign be larger than the size of a permitted wall <br /> sign on the front of the building. <br /> • <br /> f. Billboards. Billboards are permitted as regulated in Section 9-130. <br /> g. Electronic readerboard sign. One (1) electronic readerboard sign per lot is <br /> permitted so long as such sign conforms to the ground nd wall sign regulations <br /> h. Permanent window sign. Permanent window signs may not exceed twenty-five <br /> (25) percent of the total are of the window in which they are displayed. <br /> • <br /> i. Temporary window sign. The total area of window signs (both permanent and <br /> temporary) may not exceed fifty (50) percent of the area of the window in <br /> which they are displayed. <br /> j. Temporary sign.
