j. Temporary sign. Temporary signs are permitted as regulated in Section 9-140. <br /> SECTION 9-110. MULTIPLE OCCUPANCY BUILDING (Other than <br /> Areas of Special Control) <br /> a. Multiple occupancy buildings not displaying any wall signs, except for name <br /> plates per Section 9-040 (c), may have one (1) ground sign listing the building <br /> tenants, or comply with the requirements of b. and c. of this section. <br /> b. Building having multiple occupancy with individual entrances: When a building <br /> contains two (2) or more activities carried on by different occupants, each <br /> having a separate entrance, each occupant may display one (1) individual wall <br /> sign containing a maximum of five (5) words and/or numbers, however, the <br /> combined area of all wall signs shall not exceed the allowable percentage of the <br /> total selected signable area allowed. Individual building tenants shall not be <br /> identified by an eieczonic readerbcard sign. Wall signs must be placed within <br /> the selected signable area. Such buildings may be identified by a single ground <br /> sign only, displaying the name of the building only, except when the ground <br /> sign is an electronic readerboard. Such ground sign shall conform to all <br /> applicable size, height, and setback requirements. <br /> c. Buildings having multiple occupancy with shared entrances and buildings with <br /> both individual and shared entrances: Such joint occupancy buildings may be <br /> identified by a single ground or wall sign in conformance with all applicable <br /> size, height, and setback requirements, Such sign may display name of building . • <br /> only or name and address of building, and name plates fcr individual tenants in <br /> accordance with the overall sign area and height requirements, except that the <br /> identifying ground or wall sign may be an electronic readerboard sign. <br /> SECTION 9-120. BUILDING SIDES NOT ABUTTING A STREET <br /> A wall sign may be displayed on the side or rear of a building facing a yard not abutting on <br /> a street under the following.conditions: <br /> a. The signs be visible from a public roadway on which the building abuts. <br /> b. The side or rear yard on the side to be signed shall meet district setback and <br /> buffering requirements. <br /> c. The sign shall be no larger than the largest wall sign which would be permitted <br /> on the front of the building. <br /> d.
