In order for the City of Mounds View to consider your CUP application, you are <br /> required to submit to the City a petition signed by over fifty percent (50%), of all registered landowners or those <br /> occupying land, within 500 feet of your property. For your convenience, I have included a map showing all <br /> properties within 500 feet of your property; you are responsible for obtaining signatures from all residents <br /> located within any portion of the circle (highlighted in yellow) noted on the map. <br /> The following is an example of wording you may want to include on your petition: <br /> (Date) <br /> • <br /> "We, the undersigned, are residents of Mounds View, Minnesota, living within 500 feet of 7520 <br /> Greenfield Avenue. We understand that this document requires our signatures to approve the <br /> establishment of a residential kennel at the aforementioned address. As stated in the City Code, a <br /> residential kennel may consist of more than two, but not more than four dogs over the age of six <br /> months. We approve of the application by Linda Kay Nelson, resident of 7520 Greenfield Avenue, for <br /> a residential kennel license." <br /> Please include the names, addresses and signatures of the neighbors you are required to obtain signatures from. <br /> If you wish for your application to be reviewed at the January 03, 1996 Planning Commission Regular Meeting, <br /> you will need to submit your list of signatures by December 27, 1995. The Planning Commission will discuss <br /> your application during the December 20, 1995- agenda meeting, and then the City Councirvrillic <br /> hearing on January 22, 1996. Submitting the information later than December 27, 1995, will delay action on <br /> your application request. <br /> If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 784-3055.
