THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT PAUL DOES ORDAIN: <br /> e 1. <br /> That the definitions for theSterctionms Adult Bookstore, Adult Cabaret, Adult <br /> Conversation/Rap Parlor, Adult Health/Sports Club, Adult Massage Parlor, Adult <br /> Mini-Motion Picture Theatre, Adult Motion Picture Theatre, Adult Steam Room/ <br /> Bathhouse Facility and Adult Uses, contained in section 60.201 of the Saint <br /> Paul Legislative Code, be and are hereby amended to read 'as follows: <br /> • <br /> Adult bookstore. A shop building or portion of a building used for the • <br /> barter, rental or sale of items consisting of printed matter, pictures, <br /> slides, records, audio tape, videotape or motion picture film if such shop <br /> building or portion of a building is not open to the public generally but only <br /> to one or more classes of the public excluding any minor by reason of age: s <br /> or if a substantial or significant portion of such items are distinguished or <br /> characterized by an emphasis on the depiction or description of "specified <br /> sexual activities" or "specified anatomical areas." No obscene work shall be <br /> allowed. <br /> Adult cabaret. An-establ4shment-wh4eh-prev4des A building or portion of <br /> a building used for providing ge-ge-daneers;-exetie-daneers;-strippers;-er <br /> s4m4lar-enterta4ners dancing or other live entertainment, if such building or <br /> portion of a building and-wh4eh excludes minors by virtue of age: , or if such <br /> dancing or other live entertainment is distinauished or characterizedby an <br /> emphasis on the presentation, display, depiction or description of "specified <br /> sexual activities" or "specified anatomical areas." No obscene work shall be <br /> allowed. <br /> Adult conversation/rap parlor. A conversation/rap parlor which excludes <br /> minors by reason of age, or which provides the service of engaging in or <br /> listening to conversation, talk or discussion, if such service is <br /> distinguished or characterized by an emphasis on "specified sexual activities" <br /> or "specified anatomical areas. " No obscene work shall be allowed. <br /> Adult health/sport club. A health/sport club which excludes minors by <br /> reason of age, or if such club is distinguished or characterized by an <br /> emphasis on "specifiedsexual activities" or "specified anatomical areas." No <br /> obscene work shall be allowed. <br /> Adult massage parlor. A massage parlor which restricts minors by reason <br /> of ace. or which provides the service of "massage", if such service is <br /> distinguished or characterized by an emphasis on "soecified sexual activities" <br /> or "specified anatomical areas. " No obscene work shall be allowed. <br /> Adult mini-motion picture theatre. An-enelesed-building A building or <br /> portion of a building with a capacity for less than 50 persons used for <br /> presenting material defined-by-M4nneseta-Statutes-6I7 292-as--sexually <br /> preveeat4ve2-and-whieh if such buildina or portion of a building as a <br /> prevailing practice excludes minors by virtue of age: , or if such.material is <br /> distinguished or characterized by an emohasis on the depiction or descriotion <br /> of "specified sexual activities" or "specified anatomical areas" for <br /> 4" observation by patrons therein.
