Reports of Mayor and Council. 7 <br /> 8 <br />Mayor Marty stated that Mr. Ulrich, Mr. Backman, and he had testified at the Senate 9 <br />subcommittee hearing earlier in the day regarding removing the MnDOT covenants from the golf 10 <br />course, and it had passed through the subcommittee with no trouble, and the full committee 11 <br />would be considering it in a week and a half to two weeks. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Council Member Flaherty asked if he had met with Representative Bernardy regarding this issue. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Mayor Marty stated that she would be introducing that legislation on the House side shortly. He 16 <br />stated that Senator Betzold is also introducing some TIF legislation on Thursday. He asked City 17 <br />Clerk/Administrator Ulrich to keep them informed as to when Representative Bernardy 18 <br />introduced the legislation. 19 <br /> 20 <br />City Clerk/Administrator Ulrich stated that he would. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Mayor Marty reminded everyone to vote on February 1 at the Community Center from 7:00 a.m. 23 <br />to 8:00 p.m. 24 <br /> 25 <br />B. Reports of Staff 26 <br /> 27 <br />City Clerk/Administrator Ulrich stated that he had put a copy of a letter in the Council’s 28 <br />mailboxes that he is sending to someone who is leasing space from the city, and he stated that if 29 <br />anyone had any concerns or issues, to let him know. 30 <br /> 31 <br />C.
