Monday, February 14, 2005 City Council Agenda. 22 <br /> 23 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Thomas. To Approve the Monday, February 14, 2005 Agenda 24 <br />as presented. 25 <br /> 26 <br /> Ayes –5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 27 <br /> 28 <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT 29 <br /> 30 <br />William Werner, 2765 Sherwood Road, stated that it was interesting that the Bridges Golf 31 <br />Course item and the Donut Connection item were put together on the EDA meeting agenda. He 32 <br />stated that when the time comes, it will be stated that they spent all of the money on the Donut 33 <br />Connection, so there won’t be any money left over for the golf course sale. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Mayor Marty stated that these were two separate items, and on the Bridges Golf Course item, the 36 <br />City wouldn’t be taking money out of the TIF pool at this point. He stated they were talking 37 <br />about possibly creating another TIF District and using the money that would be created from that. 38 <br /> 39 <br />David Jahnke, 8428 Eastwood Road, stated that he was disappointed that bids were not going to 40 <br />be received for the carpet for the Community Center. He asked if the golf course was borrowing 41 <br />$140,000 for the year. 42 <br /> 43 <br />Finance Director Hansen stated that he couldn’t state a figure until he had closed the books out 44 <br />for the year, but that there would need to be an addition to the internal loan for 2004. 45
