Mounds View City Council February 28, 2005 <br />Regular Meeting Page 2 <br /> <br />David Jahnke, 4820 Eastwood Road, stated that one cannot predict how well the golf course is 1 <br />going to do in years to come, and that he had previously informed the Council how many other 2 <br />golf courses have closed recently. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Bill Syricks, 2210 Pinewood Drive, stated that this morning the City was out spreading 5 <br />chemicals when there was only a trace of snow, and he has a problem with his tax dollars being 6 <br />wasted. He commented that he would also like the City to enforce all ordinances. 7 <br /> 8 <br />Mayor Marty informed Mr. Syricks that the Community Development Director would be giving a 9 <br />report at the end of the meeting, and that the report included ordinance issues. 10 <br /> 11 <br />Public Works Director Lee stated that only certain intersections had been done this morning, but 12 <br />others reported that their whole streets had been done. Public Works Director Lee stated that he 13 <br />would check into it. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Bill Werner, 2765 Sherwood Road, stated he would like information regarding how much 16 <br />revenue would be brought in by the billboards at the Bridges Golf Course. He asked when the 17 <br />public was going to be provided with some numbers regarding the possible sale to Medtronic. 18 <br /> 19 <br />Mayor Marty stated that eventually all the information becomes public for anything done within 20 <br />city government. 21 <br /> 22 <br />6. JUST AND CORRECT CLAIMS 27 <br /> 28 <br />Council Member Gunn asked what the item at page 11, second from the bottom, was for the City 29 <br />of White Bear Lake. 30 <br /> 31 <br />Director Ericson advised it is the fee paid for participation in the Ramsey County JS user’s group 32 <br />that provides access to all the Ramsey County data. 33 <br /> 34 <br />Council Member Flaherty asked what the $2,500 was for to Hard Drives, Inc. on page 1, fourth 35 <br />item down. 36 <br /> 37 <br />Public Works Director Lee advised it was for work associated with providing the second access 38 <br />to the Mounds View Manufactured Home Community. It was for acceptance of final payment 39 <br />that was approved by the City Council at the last meeting. 40 <br /> 41 <br />MOTION/SECOND. Gunn/Thomas. To approve the Just and Correct Claims as presented. 42 <br /> 43 <br /> Ayes-5 Nays-0 Motion carried. 44 <br /> 45
