PUBLIC INPUT 29 <br /> 30 <br />Marcy Winkler, 2372 Laport Drive, stated that Planning and Development has spoke to three 31 <br />developers regarding developing Laport Meadows. She asked if it was final that the woods were 32 <br />going to be developed. 33 <br /> 34 <br />Mayor Marty stated that nothing was final until it came before the Council. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Ms. Winkler asked whether there was anything in the Comprehensive Plan that allows for 37 <br />preservation of wildlife, nature trails, and the woodlands in Mounds View. She stated that the 38 <br />times that the City Council and Planning Commissions are being broadcast are at 1:00 and 3:00 39 <br />in the morning, and they are inconvenient to watch. 40 <br /> 41 <br />Mayor Marty stated that if the land is owned by someone else, the City doesn’t have jurisdiction. 42 <br />He stated he has talked to the City Clerk/Administrator regarding tree preservation because 43 <br />Mounds View is a tree city.
