MOUNDS VIEW PARKS AND RECREATION <br />PARK NEEDS ANALYSIS <br /> <br /> <br />The following is a list of park related needs as originally identified by the Parks <br />and Recreation Commission in 2003 and up dated in 2004. These include both <br />short term and long term needs. The identification of the park needs is the first <br />step in developing a long term Capital Improvement Program (CIP) and <br />developing recommendations pertaining to the City’s park system for <br />consideration in the City’s Budget. <br /> <br />The needs list are categorized into three categories: <br />A. Maintenance (do now) <br />B. Budget (budgeted item for 2005, 2006, or 2007) <br />C. Long Term (add to Capital Improvement Program) <br />The following list is the updated needs list developed in 2003 with the category <br />for each item noted. (A, B, OR C) <br /> <br /> <br />Sorted by Catagory <br /> <br /> A. Maintenance (do now) <br /> <br />1. Repair storm drain at Greenfield Park. A Temporary repair is DONE. <br />Working with Public Works Surface Water Division and The Rice <br />Creek Watershed District. <br /> <br />2. Iron railing at Random Park – fix or replace iron railing. This was in the <br />2003 budget A DO IN 2005 <br /> <br />3. Install bridge for disc golf course at Silver View Park. A DO IN 2005 <br />Using Oakwood Trail Bridge <br /> <br />4. Repaint inside of shelter at Silver View Park. A DO IN 2005 <br /> <br />5. Replace toilet enclosure at Silver View Park. A DO IN 2005 <br /> <br />6. Blacktop repair at path entrance at Woodcrest Park. A DO IN 2005 <br /> <br />7. Develop a Parks (City) Facility Brochure A -2003 DO IN 2005 <br /> <br />8. Redo Silver View Ball Field No. 1 and warning track. DO IN 2005 <br /> <br />9. Install Sidewalk 8’ from Hillview Road to Hillview Park Shelter front <br />door.
