Mounds View City Council March 28, 2005 Regular Meeting Page 5 Public Works Director Lee stated that this was for cleanup of a hydraulic spill that occurred on 1 Irondale. 2 3 Mayor Marty asked about page 5, No. 115712, for $1,700. 4 5 Public Works Director Lee stated that is was for adding an additional outlet for the electrical 6 ovens that were added to the Community Center. 7 8 Council Member Stigney asked if the Banquet Center was paying for that. 9 10 Public Works Director Lee stated that he was not sure. 11 12 City Clerk/Administrator Ulrich stated that he would have to check. 13 14 Mayor Marty asked about page 7, No. 115728. He asked if it was for the meth lab. 15 16 Director Ericson stated that it was for a property that the department had issued a corrective order 17 on. It had been deemed a hazardous building. He stated there were some structural issues, and 18 Kennedy and Graven were helping them to issue the orders. 19 20 Mayor Marty asked if this was billed to the property owner or if the city had to absorb the legal 21 fees. 22 23 Director Ericson stated that he wasn’t sure, but it may be something the city would need to pay to 24 maintain a healthy neighborhood. 25 26 Mayor Marty stated that since the property is abandoned, would somebody still have to pay for it. 27 28 Director Ericson stated that somebody owes it, and they will try to work out that issue. 29 30 Mayor Marty stated he would like to see that happen. He asked about page 11, No. 115761, 31 Silverview Park Pond. He asked if this was the final bill. 32 33 Public Works Director Lee stated that this is the final bill on that, and the project is complete. 34 35 MOTION/SECOND. Thomas/Flaherty.
