Mounds View City Council April 25, 2005 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br /> <br />Public Works Director Lee stated that the sweeper was purchased in 1989 noting that they do use 1 <br />several brushes through the course of a year. He stated that they try to purchase a portion each 2 <br />year and indicated that they are planning to come back in the fall to present Council with a 3 <br />proposal to replace the sweeper. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Council Member Flaherty referenced page 7, Kennedy and Graven invoices and asked if the 6 <br />invoice for the Skyline Motel, in the amount of $966.38 was for the meth lab cleanup. 7 <br /> 8 <br />Director Ericson clarified that the expense was to review the possibilities for an acquisition 9 <br />noting that after reviewing it was decided not to acquire the property. 10 <br /> 11 <br />MOTION/SECOND. He stated that citizens are called upon to assist in the planting of trees to be 21 <br />enjoyed by current and future residents at Sunnyside Elementary. 22 <br /> 23 <br />A. Set a Public Hearing for 7:05 pm on May 9, 2005 to Consider a Conditional 24 <br />Use Permit to add two additional units to a multi-family residential building 25 <br />at 2071 Hillview Road 26 <br />B. Set a Public Hearing for 7:10 pm on May 9, 2005 to Consider a Development 27 <br />Review for a Retail Development at 2525 County Road 10 28 <br />C. Resolution 6501 Proclaiming April 29, 2005 as “Arbor Day” 29 <br />D. Schedule a Special Work Session for Tuesday, May 3, 2005, to discuss street 30 <br />rehabilitation issues. 31 <br />E. Schedule an Executive Session immediately following this City Council 32 <br />meeting to discuss Golf Course property purchase and Billboard Contract 33 <br />negotiations. 34 <br />F.
