<br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6532 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AUTHORIZATION TO HIRE A POLICE OFFICER AND PROMOTE A POLICE <br />OFFICER TO THE POSITION OF SERGEANT <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a vacancy for a Police Sergeant is created by Sergeant Jerry <br />Johnson’ retirement, which when filled, will create a vacancy for a Police Officer position <br />on the Mounds view Police Department, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Civil Service Commission has a current <br />active list of applicants for both positions, and; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is anticipated that suitable candidates will be selected from this <br />list, and submitted to the Council for final approval. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby authorize staff to fill both positions with start dates some time in June of <br />2005. <br /> <br />Adopted this 23rd day of May 2005. <br /> <br /> <br /> ______________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> _______________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich <br />City Clerk/Administrator <br />(SEAL)
