Item No: 09P <br />Meeting Date: May 23, 2005 <br />Type of Business: Council Business <br /> <br />City of Mounds View Staff Report <br />To: Honorable Mayor and City Council <br />From: Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br />Item Title/Subject: Schedule a Special Meeting with the Charter Commission to <br />discuss Charter Commission Requirements <br /> <br />The Charter Commission requests having a Special Council Meeting with the City <br />Council to discuss Charter Commission Requirements. Staff contacted the Chair <br />of the Charter Commission, Jonathan Thomas, and decided to schedule a Special <br />Meeting an hour prior to the regularly scheduled Charter Commission. <br /> <br />The Charter Commission meets every second Thursday of each month at 7pm, <br />located in City Council Chambers. Dates recommended for this Special Meeting <br />are Thursday, June 6 or Thursday, July 14 at 6pm. <br /> <br />If any of these dates work for the City Council, then Staff will contact the Charter <br />Commission and start the scheduling procedures. <br /> <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Kurt Ulrich <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />
