The squad cars, 2005 Ford Crown <br />Victoria Police Vehicles, have been purchased and will be set up as marked cars. Three <br />bids were received for setting up the squad and installing the emergency lighting and <br />signaling equipment, and configuring all of the data and radio connections. <br /> <br />The bid from Emergency Automotive for the squad set up for both squads is $11,123. <br />The two other bids for the same service were $14,920, and $14,209. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />The Police Department has purchased squad set up from Emergency Automotive in the <br />past and has found their product and service to be excellent.
