• <br /> than ten feet above the highest point of the roof except as provided for in Section <br /> • 526.07. Subd. 10 of this code. <br /> Subd. 78. Fences, walls, and hedges as permitted in Section 511.23 of this code. <br /> Subd. 89. Other uses customarily associated with, but incidental to the principal use, <br /> as determined by the City.pursuant to Section 511.05 of this code. <br /> 526.07. Conditional uses. Subdivision 1. The uses listed in this subsection are conditional <br /> uses in the C-1 District, and are subject to the conditional use permit provisions outlined in <br /> Section 546.05 of this code. <br /> Subd. 2. Neighborhood shopping centers or similar multi-tenant developments with <br /> over 6,000 square feet of gross floor area, provided the following conditions are met: <br /> a) the lot shall abut an arterial or collector street; and <br /> b) the Council shall find that the center or development and its proposed uses <br /> are designed specifically to serve the residents of the neighborhood area. <br /> Subd. 3. Neighborhood retail, service, and office establishments (excluding those <br /> listed in Section 526.09) with over 2,500 square feet of gross floor area, provided the <br /> Council finds that the use is designed specifically to serve the residents of the <br /> neighborhood area. <br /> • <br /> Subd. 4. Class II (traditional/cafeteria) restaurants and Class IV (take out only) <br /> restaurants, provided the following conditions are met: <br /> a) the gross floor area of the restaurant shall not exceed 2,000 square feet; <br /> b) drive-up window service and exterior loudspeakers shall not be permitted; <br /> c) alcoholic beverages shall not be served; and <br /> d)_no more than two s .ch restaurant—uses--shall—be provided—within a <br /> neighborhood shopping center or similar multi-tenant development. <br /> Subd. 5. Automobile detailing establishments licensed under Section 1195 of the City <br /> Code. <br /> Subd. 6. Apartments within commercial buildings which exceed 50 percent of the <br /> gross floor area. <br /> Subd. 7. Licensed day care facilities, provided the following conditions are met: <br /> a) pick-up and drop-off areas shall be located on the site, and shall be designed <br /> • to avoid interfering with traffic and pedestrian movements; <br />
