Mr. Jim <br /> Price and Darwin Lindahl, representing the applicant, Saturn Development, were <br /> present. <br /> XOX <br /> Motion/Second: Miller/Peterson approved Resolution No. 483-96 recommending <br /> approval of an amended conditional use permit and a development review for the <br /> expansion of the Saturn Dealership at 2375 and 2395 Highway 10, Planning Case No. <br /> 464-96. <br /> Motion carried on a vote of 5 ayes, 0 nays and 1 abstention. (Commissioner <br /> Stevenson abstained due to his son being employed at the Saturn Dealership.). <br /> Chair Peterson informed the applicant that this item will be heard by the City <br /> Council on November 25. <br /> 7. Staff Reports/Information Items <br /> Planning Associate Ericson provided an update on Planning Case No. 460-96: <br /> Auto Central which was heard at the October 7, 1996 meeting. The property is <br /> owned by Norwest Bank. There are now two different parties considering the <br /> property for an auto servicing businesses, and the bank is also talking with the <br /> City about buying the site. The application is on hold at this time. <br /> Director Sheldon informed the Planning Commission of items that are scheduled <br /> to be heard at their next meeting: the variances on signs for Paster Enterprises <br /> and for Saturn Development, a lot split request from Larry Beach, and a draft of <br /> the telecommunications ordinance. <br /> • <br />
