Summary <br /> The focus of this analysis has been to identify peak parking <br /> demand characteristics for the proposed Carmike cinema project . <br /> The results of this analysis are as follows : <br /> 1 . The results of the parking accumulation data, factored to <br /> reflect seasonal variations in patron use, indicate that the <br /> proposed parking ratio of 0 . 25 (one (1) space for every four <br /> (4 ) seats) will effectively serve the project during both <br /> peak Friday and Saturday conditions throughout the year. <br /> 2 . The ULI seasonal variations in cinema parking indicate that <br /> patron attendance in February is approximately 70 percent of <br /> the attendance in June and July, and is based on actual <br /> surveys of suburban cinemas containing over 900 seats . The <br /> sales receipt information obtained through Carmike Cinemas <br /> for the Nashville, Tennessee indicates that February in <br /> 111 approximately 62 percent of the attendance in June . <br /> 3 . The results of the parking analysis utilizing the ULI <br /> seasonal variation data indicates that a peak demand of 0 . 19 <br /> seats per space (one (1) parking space for 5 . 36 seats) would <br /> be observed during the critical Saturday peak hour. <br /> 4 .
