I <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 08-81 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RECOMMENDATION TO CITY COUNCIL REGARDING PLANNING CASE 71-80 <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed the <br />application of James A. Trapp regarding accessory building at 8018 <br />Sunnyside Road; and <br />WHEREAS, this piece of property is similar to other properties <br />in the immediate neighborhood and in the City as a whole; i.e., not <br />unique in character; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Code Section 40.04 Subd. D(4) limiting <br />the size of an accessory building to two hundred sixteen (216) square <br />feet and no more than twenty five (25) percent of the rear yard is not <br />restrictive, when applied to the property at 8018 Sunnyside Road, but <br />rather maintains a uniformity which enhances the properties in this <br />community; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has not demonstrated the existence of <br />unnecessary hardship unique to the property; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br />Commission recommends to the City Council that the request for condi- <br />tional use, to construct an accessory building which would be in <br />excess of the City Code allowance of two hundred sixteen (216) square <br />feet, be denied. <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />Adopted this 4th day of March, 1981. <br />a <br />Building -& Z ning 0 icial <br />
