MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 13-81 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RECOMMENDATION REGARDING CHANGE IN ALLOWABLE <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT USES IN A LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, Carley Pattern Company has applied for a rezoning of <br />the property located at 4751 Mustang Lane frm I-1 (Light Industrial) <br />to I-2 (Heavy Industrial), Case No. 68-80; an <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission recommnded to the City Council <br />(Resolution No. 09-81) that the property not 4e rezoned; and <br />WHEREAS, upon a thorough review of thex roposal, the applicant's <br />intended use, and the Municipal Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the proposed develop- <br />ment, Carley Pattern Company: <br />7) <br />will not depreciate the area in whi h it is proposed, <br />will not introduce heavy traffic into the area, <br />creates no waste by products, noxious odors or fumes, <br />or increased noise, <br />will not require outside storage, <br />will not affect the character of th surrounding area, <br />is heavily regulated and policed by both State and Federal <br />agencies such as PCA and OSHA, and <br />the nature of this development does not require isolation <br />from other industrial or commercial uses. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the <br />mission recommends to the City Council that ti <br />be permitted to develop on the property locat( <br />as a conditional use in an I-1 District as rec <br />of the Municipal Code; <br />Mounds View Planning Com - <br />Le Carley Pattern Company <br />!d at 4751 Mustang Lane <br />fulated by Section 40.23 <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that it is the f nding of the Planning Com- <br />mission that due to technological progress and improved regulation by <br />State and Federal agencies, the Commission intends to continue its re- <br />view in order to recommend other types of industries thatmay be considered <br />as allowed under conditional use permits in an I-1 District. <br />Adopted this lst clay of April, 1981. <br />ATTEST: <br />• (SEAL) <br />Building and Zoning Officia <br />
