MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />• RESOLUTION NO. 40-81 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE VARIANCE REQUEST FOR <br />ROBERT PEARSON AT 2565-SHERWOOD ROAD (CASE 98-81) <br />WHEREAS, the owner of 2565 Sherwood Road, Robert <br />Pearson, proposes to construct an addition to his home; and <br />WHEREAS, the addition request is proposed to come <br />within a distance of 5.5 feet of an existing detached garage; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Zoning Code requires a 6 foot setback <br />between buildings; and <br />WHEREAS, the Building Code adopted by the City of <br />Mounds View would allow a 3 foot setback between the garages <br />and house use; and <br />• WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission finds . <br />that the hardship statement submitted by the owner is in <br />keeping with the spirit of the Code, thus not impairing it, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View <br />Planning Commission approves the request for a 6 inch variance <br />for required setback between structures at 2565 Sherwood.
