MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 41-81 <br />• CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION REGARDING VARIANCE REQUEST <br />FOR 6928 PLEASANT VIEW DRIVE <br />WHEREAS, a representative for 6928 Pleasant View Drive has <br />requested a variance from the required sideyard setback of a drive- <br />way; and <br />WHEREAS, the representative requests approval of a new <br />existing driveway surface to be located between 1.5 feet to .4 feet <br />from the property line while a minimum of 5 feet is required by <br />City Code; and <br />WHEREAS, there exists a non -conforming garage 1.5 feet off <br />the property line while 5 feet is required; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the hardship <br />presented does not meet Code requirements for relief; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds that the owner of the <br />property does have the right to access his existing garage; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br />Commission approves the. installation of a driveway from the garage, <br />1.5 feet off the south property line, at 6928 Pleasant View Drive for <br />a distance of 22 feet at which location the driveway shall curve to a <br />5 feet setback within 42 feet from the garage; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission <br />requires the removal of the non -conforming portion of the driveway <br />immediately and further note that a 2 foot radius may be used on the <br />driveway end at the street. <br />Adopted this 4th day of November, 1981. <br />ATTEST: <br />C a'rp son <br />(SEAL) <br />r` <br />Building and Zoning Official <br />
