• <br />• <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 46-82 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING DENIAL OF REZONING AND <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT REQUEST FOR 2865 HIGHWAY 10 <br />WHEREAS, the property known as 2865 Highway 10 is <br />presently zoned R-1 (single family); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant, Gregory A. Johnson, has requested <br />a rezoning for a minor auto repair use requiring a B-3 designa- <br />tion and conditional use permit approval; and <br />WHEREAS, the subject property is located in District 6 of <br />the Mounds View Land Use Map found in the Comprehensive Plan <br />Update (copy attached) and; <br />WHEREAS, the predominate use within District 6 directs <br />the development and redevelopment of property along Highway 10 <br />to be medium density residential to protect and buffer the <br />existing single family dwellings; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission and City <br />Council in 1981 recommended denial and denied, respectively, a <br />rezoning request from R-1 to B-1 for a parcel directly adjacent <br />to the subject parcel 2865 Highway 10; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the Planning Commission's duty to be <br />consistant and to carry out the comprehensive planned direction <br />of the City's Plan Udate; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br />Commission recommends to the City Council denial of the rezoning <br />(R-1 to B-3) and conditional use permit request for a minor auto <br />repair for 2865 Highway 10. <br />ATTEST: <br />(SEAL) <br />Adopted this 3rd day of February, 1982. <br />
