MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 48-82 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE SPRING LAKE PARK COMPREHENSIVE PLAN WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has received the City of Spring Lake Park's Comprehensive Plan for formal review; and WHEREAS, the Plan has been formally reviewed; and WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission recommends that the City of Spring Lake Park respond to the following considerations: 1. That the City of Spring Lake Park include in the Storm Water Drainage Implementation Plan corrective actions to eliminate or reduce periodic flooding problems that occur between Spring Lake Park and Mounds ViE~ north of Highway 10. 2. That the City of Spring Lake Park consider the existing and proposed development pattern of Mounds View in the location of Pleasant View Drive and Highway 10 in their considerations for signalization. WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission requests the above two considerations because in both cases the areas involved for Mounds View are substan- tially developed while for Spring Lake Park either undeveloped or proposed for re- development; and WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission further recommends that the City of Spring Lake Park keep actively involved in the Anoka County Airport planning process to assure that it stays in compliance with the direction of the Plan (i.e., not bei ng expanded beyond its current capabil iti es II); and WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission finds that remainder of the Plan to be in harmony with the Mounds View Plan Update; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission recommends approval of the Spring Lake Park Comprehensive Plan with the considerations listed and noted in this resolution.
