• <br />• <br />0 <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 60-82 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING ADOPTION OF CHAPTER 48, <br />"WETLANDS", TO THE CITY COUNCIL <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission recognizes <br />that wetlands are critical to the health, safety and welfare of <br />the City; and <br />WHEREAS, a wetlands subcommittee has been organized to <br />study the wetland issue; and <br />WHEREAS, this subcommittee has presented to the Planning <br />Commission a draft copy of the proposed wetland ordinance for <br />review and comment; and <br />WHEREAS, it is the Planning Commission's desire to maintain <br />a consistency between the wetland ordinance and the zoning ordi- <br />nance, subdivision ordinance and the adopted Comprehensive Plan <br />of the City; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br />Commission has reviewed and determined that draft No. 3 of Chapter <br />48 entitled, "Wetlands", is consistent with the goals and policies <br />of the Mounds View Comprehensive Plan; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commis- <br />sion hereby recommends to the City Council adoption of this Chapter <br />of the Municipal Code. <br />Adopted this 1st day of September, 1982. <br />ATTEST: //l - <br />(SEAL) <br />Publ'c Works/Co ity Development <br />Director <br />
