MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 61-82 <br />• <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION DENYING A VARIANCE REQUEST FOR <br />7090 SILVER LAKE ROAD FOR OVERSIZED CURB CUT <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Don Gaetke, Owner of the property located at <br />7090 Silver Lake Road, has requested a variance for an oversized <br />curb cut; and <br />WHEREAS, the Owner has submitted a sketch which shows the <br />proposed curb cut as being Fifty (50) feet in width; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed this sub- <br />mission as well as staff reports; and <br />WHEREAS, Mounds View Municipal Code, Chapter 40.07, Subd. D <br />(8) (g) states: <br />No curb cut access shall exceed twenty-two(22) <br />feet in width for R-1 residential areas <br />• <br />and; <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission finds no unique hardship <br />regarding the variance request; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the.Mounds View Planning <br />Commission denies the variance request of Don Gaetke, 7090 Silver <br />Lake Road, for an oversized curb cut due to lack of hardship meeting <br />the requirements of the Mounds View Zoning Code; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that although the Planning Commission <br />has offered Mr. Gaetke the option to withdraw his application and <br />receive a refund, he has refused this offer. <br />Adopted this 6th day of October, 1982. <br />ATTEST: L <br />Chairman <br />(SEAL) <br />Dir for of Pub�y Works/Community <br />Deveelopment <br />
