MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 71-83 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE At1ENDING OF <br />CHAPTER 43 ENTITLED, MOBILE HOMES <br />WHEREAS, recent legislation has been enacted governing <br />manufactured homes; and <br />WHEREAS, as a result of this legislation, the Mounds <br />View City Council adopted Ordinance amending Chapter 40 as it <br />relates to manufactured homes; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission sees the <br />need to revise the existing Mobile Home Code to incorporate <br />manufactured home language; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Charter requires that the <br />City's ordinances be reviewed at least once every two (2) years; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View <br />Planning Commission recommends to the City Council the amending <br />of Chapter 43 of the Municipal Code as follows: <br />1) Chapter 43.01 Definitions. <br />2) Manufactured Home. A manufactured home is one <br />that is defined by Minnesota Statutes, Chapter <br />327. <br />Paragraphs (2) through (5) to be renumbered (3) <br />through (6). <br />2) Chapter 43.02 Location. <br />1) It shall be unlawful within the limits of Mounds <br />View for any person to park any mobile home or <br />manufactured home on any street, alley, highway, <br />or other public place or on any tract of land <br />owned by any person, occupied or unoccupied with- <br />in Mounds View, except as provided for in this <br />Chapter or Chapter 40 of the Municipal Code. <br />3) Chapter 43.02 Location. <br />3) No person shall park or occupy any mobile home or <br />manufactured home which is situated outside of an <br />approved mobile home park except as allowed in
