MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 72-83 <br />iCITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE AMENDING OF <br />CHAPTER 32 ENTITLED, "THE PLANNING COMMISSION" <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council requires that all <br />chapters of the Mounds View Municipal Code be reviewed at least <br />once every two (2) years; and <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has met and <br />reviewed Chapter 32; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br />Commission recommends to the City Council the following revisions <br />to Chapter 32 of the Mounds View Municipal Code entitled, "The <br />Planning Commission": <br />32.05, Subdivision 4, shall be amended to read as follows: <br />32.05, Subdivision 4. Bylaws, Records. The Commission shall <br />•adopt bylaws for its governance and for the transaction of its busi- <br />ness. The bylaws shall be reviewed on an annual basis at the first <br />regular meeting in February. A recording secretary, who may be <br />recommended by the Planning Commission for appointment, shall keep a <br />record of attendance at Commission meetings, a record of resolutions, <br />transactions, findings, and determinations, and a record of the votes <br />and abstentions on each question requiring a vote. The record of the <br />Commission shall be a public record. <br />32.07 shall be amended to read as follows: <br />32.07 Reports. A-ie-lag-e��a-x�eeg-ef-e-Ese�-} <br />wek-d�-}�e-peeec4g-yeas- The City Council may request an annual <br />report from the Planning Commission of its work during the preceding <br />year. <br />32.09 shall be amended to read as follows: <br />32.09 Vacancies. <br />Subdivision 1. Removal From Office. An appointed member of <br />the Commission may be removed from office for just cause and on <br />written charges by at least four/fifths vote of the entire City <br />Council, but such member shall be entitled to a public hearing before <br />•such vote is taken. In addition, an appointed member may be removed <br />for non-attendance at Planning Commission meetings as provided in the <br />by-laws adopted by the Planning Commission. It shall be the duty of <br />the Chairman of the Commission to notify the City Council promptly <br />
