Resolution No. 74-83 <br />Page 2 <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission <br />recommends approval of the motel development based upon the site plan <br />dated April 14, 1983. This approval recommendation should be contin- <br />gent upon and development to include: <br />1) The proposed storm water ponding area shall be retained <br />as the sole ponding area for all of Block 3, Programmed <br />Land First Addition. <br />2) The existing skimmer be modified to allow emergency <br />overflow in the event that the skimmer inlet becomes <br />plugged or frozen. <br />3) The developer willbe responsible for the performance and <br />maintenance of the skimmer for the standard 7-year period. <br />4) Rice Creek Watershed District approval. <br />5) That approval is granted for a phased type of development <br />where initial construction shall consist of 70 units with <br />adequate parking as Phase I and an additional 28 units <br />98 units total, with additional adequate parking being <br />provided) as Phase II. <br />6) Initial storm water ponding area shall be adequate in area <br />and volume for the 98 unit building with accompanying <br />parking in addition to storm water generated by McDonalds <br />Restaurant. As a minimum, the ponding area required by <br />McDonalds site and proposed 98 unit motel site, shall be <br />covered by a drainage and utility easement. <br />7) Parking lot meeting setback requirements. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Commission directs <br />staff to forward this resolution to the City Council prior to approval <br />of the minutes. <br />Adopted this 4th day of May, 1983. <br />ATTEST:d .Ud~~- ~. /j~~ <br />Cna irm <br />SEAL)
