MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 80-83 CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW • COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR AN OVERSIZED ACCESSORY BUILDING AT 3048 COUNTY ROAD H-2 WHEREAS, Mr. Willard Haro has requested a conditional use permit to construct a 480 square foot accessory building at 3048 County Road H-2; and WHEREAS, per 40.04, Subdivision D(4) of the Municipal Code, accessory buildings greater than 216 square feet require a conditional use permit; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed this request and the materials submitted concerning vandalism occurrences in the area; and WHEREAS, the Planning Commission identifies the need to protect the applicant's personal property from vandalism as a justification to recommend approval of the conditional use permit for the oversized accessory building; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission recommends to the City Council approval of a conditional use permit for the construction of a 480 square foot accessory building at 3048 County Road H-2 to be used for the storage of domes- tic supplies and non-commercial recreational equipment; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission recommends that the conditional use permit be recorded at the county and remain with the property; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that should ownership of the property change and the subsequent owner desires to keep the accessory building, a new conditional use permit must be applied for and approval by the City Council received; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Planning Commission directs staff to forward this recommendation to the City Council prior to approval of the minutes.
