MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 82-83 • CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW COUNTY OF RAMSEY STATE OF MINNESOTA RECOMMENDATION TO THE CITY COUNCIL REGARDING PLANNING CASE 123-83, SAM DALBERG/GLENN HANSON WHEREAS, on February 2, 1983, the Mounds View Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. 73-83 recommending approval to the City Council of the following: 1) The rezoning of two lots which front Silver Lake Road from R-1 to R=3; 2) A minor subdivision (3 lots into 3); 3) A conditional use permit for the construction of town- houses in an R-3 district; 4) Development approval for the construction of townhouses; and WHEREAS, on April 25, 1983, the City Council held a public hearing and first reading of an ordinance to rezone the properties from R-1 to R-2 not to R-3 as had been requested by the applicant and recom- mended for approval by the Planning Commission; and WHEREAS, On May 3, 1983, a letter was submitted by the applicants asking the City Council to consider the possibility to rezone the south 100 feet of the properties which front Silver Lake Road to R-2 and the north 133 feet to R-3; and WHEREAS, at the May 18, 1983, special Planning Commission meeting, the Commission adopted Resolution No. 73-83in response to the Council's request to receive Planning Commission input into the rezoning; and WHEREAS, this resolution concurred with the Council decision to rezone both properties to R-2; and WHEREAS, at the May 18th Planning Commission workshop meeting, a proposal submitted by the applicants was submitted to the Planning Commission for review and recommendation; and WHEREAS, this proposal, rezoning the southern lot to R-2 and northern lot which fronts Silver Lakd Road to R-3, was approved by the Planning Commission and a recommendation of approval to the City Council was given; and • WHEREAS, at the City Council meeting of May 23, 1983, the Council approved the minor subdivision of 3 lots. into 3 and a rezoning of the
