MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 89-83 <br />• CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A MINOR SUBDIVISION FOR <br />PAIR. FRANK VOGT FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 8145 RED OAK DRIVE <br />WHEREAS, Mr. Frank Vogt, the owner of property located at <br />8145 Red Oak Drive, has submitted an application to subdivide his <br />one lot into two; and <br />WHEREAS, the existing 157.5 x 253.04 lot is proposed to be <br />subdivided into two lots, the northern lot measures 82.5' x 253.04' <br />and the southern lot measures 75' x 253.04'; and <br />WHEREAS, this proposed subdivision meets minimum zoning code <br />requirements for frontage, area, and setbacks; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission discussed the Red Oak Drive <br />right-of-way and it was the concensus of the Commission that the Red <br />Oak Drive right-of-way remain at 50 feet wide adjacent to both parcels <br />A and B as shown on the certificate of survey dated June 6, 1983; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission also discussed the placement <br />•of a proposed building upon the new lot and its distance from the <br />front property line; and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant was advised that the front yard setback <br />of a future home placed upon this newly created lot would have to <br />fall within the range of setbacks of the structures within the <br />block; and <br />WHEREAS, the front yard setback of a future .home on the <br />southerly lot would have to be, at a minimum, 64'-10" from the <br />front (west) property line to meet code requirements based on a 50' <br />Red Oak Drive right-of-way dimension. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br />Commission recommends to the City Council, approval of the minor <br />subdivision as requested by Mr. Frank Vogt at 8145 Red Oak Drive. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that should a new home be placed upon <br />the newly created lot, the front yard setback shall be minimally <br />64'-10", based on a 50' Red Oak Drive right-of-way dimension. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that prior to the Clerk -Administrator <br />approving the subdivision deeds, a park fund dedication in the <br />amount of $63.00 must be paid. <br />0 <br />
