MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 92-83 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />to COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />FOR MODEL UNITS FOR THE KNOLLWOOD GREEN DEVELOPMENT <br />WHEREAS, Humpal Construction Company, developers for the <br />Knollwood Green Condominium project, has submitted an application for <br />approval of a conditional use permit to operate the first floor of the <br />building located at 2900-2914 Highway 10 as model units; and <br />WHEREAS, model homes are an allowable use in an R-3 zoning <br />district by conditional use permit; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed this proposal <br />pursuant to Mounds View Code, including parking and access and visitor <br />safety; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning <br />Commission recommends to the City Council approval of a conditional <br />use permit to use the first floor (4 units) of the building located at <br />2900-2914 Highway 10 as model units; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Comission <br />recommends that when all remaining living units of the Knol.lwood Green <br />Condominium project (28 units) have been sold, this conditional use <br />permit would expire; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that conditions of this conditional use <br />permit should be: <br />1) that the right turn lane into the project area be installed <br />prior to August 31, 1983 to provide safe access into the <br />project area; <br />2) that employees of the development use either the garages or <br />the area under active construction to park their vehicles to <br />free the uncovered spaces for the visitors of the model <br />units; <br />3) barricades be installed separating the active construction <br />area from the rest of the development; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission <br />directs staff to forward this resolution to the City Council prior to <br />approval of the minutes. <br />Adopted this 3rd day of August, 1983. <br />ATTEST: <br />Chairan <br />(SEAL) ����; <br />1. qd�!== <br />Di ctor of blic Works/ <br />C" munity D elopment <br />
