MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION • <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 516-97 <br /> CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br /> COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF A MINOR SUBDIVISION FOR <br /> GLEN AND URSALA KARLEN,PROPERTY OWNERS OF 7720 AND 7730 <br /> SILVER LAKE ROAD; MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING CASE 490-97 <br /> WHEREAS, Glen and Ursala Karlen have-requested approval of a zero-lot line minor <br /> subdivision of 7720/7730 Silver Lake Road, property zoned R-2, Single and Two-Family <br /> Residential District; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the legal description of 7720/7730 Silver Lake Road is currently(prior to the <br /> proposed subdivision)as follows: <br /> Lot 1,Block 1,Karlen's Addition <br /> WHEREAS, on June 4, 1997, the Planning Commission approved Resolution 510-97, • <br /> approving a variance in minimum lot width from 50 feet to 34 feet for 7730 Silver Lake Road; and, <br /> WHEREAS,the Planning Commission has reviewed the following documents associated <br /> with this request <br /> 1. Certificate of Survey, dated 6/13/97 <br /> 2. Planning Application, dated 6/13/97 <br /> 3. Letter from the Applicant <br /> 4. Receipt of Previous Park Dedication Payment, dated 8/16/78 <br /> 5. Certificate of Title <br /> WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed the applicants' request for a minor subdivision and <br /> determined that it is in conformance with Chapters 1201, 1202, 1104 and 1204 of the municipal <br /> Code; and <br /> WHEREAS, the applicants has submitted a certificate of surveythe for property. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Comn�ixa <br /> recommends approval of the minor subdivision request from Glen and Ursala Karlen, with the <br /> following stipulations: <br /> • <br /> 1. The applicants shall execute a drainage and utility easement document prior to the <br /> City Council's action on this item. <br />
