Planning Case No. 505-97
Mounds View Business Park East Second Add'n Plat
October 15, 1997
• Page 3
which is located in front of the building facing Program Avenue, is at one point is inches away from
the property line. Because Code requirements can be varied from in a PUD district, the fact that
the parking lot is so close may not be an issue. The parking being provided, however, is an issue.
The site plan provided by the applicant shows 162 spaces, six of which are handicapped spots. The
site plan that was approved in 1994 indicated 168 spaces. It is staff's concern that there may not be
enough room for parking on the site for the size of the building. For this reason, staff recommends
that the site plans be reviewed again by the Planning Commission and reapproved by the City
Council.
Recommendation:
Approve Planning Commission Resolution No. 531-97 recommending approval of the major
subdivision request of Everest Group, Ltd. for the Mounds View Business Park East 2nd Addition
plat, with stipulations.
N:\DATA\GROUPS\COMDEV\DEVCASES1505-97\BLDG-N.RPT
•
•
