<br /> The Coalition has been successful in attracting funding • Average housing price was over$120,000
<br /> to assist in the implementation of its Work Plan.
<br /> In the future,the above bench marks can be used to
<br /> Public Sector Support measure future Coalition success.
<br /> • The 1997 Minnesota Legislature, through the De-
<br /> partment of Trade and Economic Development,passed
<br /> legislation supporting the Coalition effort with a$200,000
<br /> grant. These funds can be used by the Coalition as de-
<br /> termined by its Board.
<br /> • The Metropolitan Council,through its Livable Com-
<br /> unity Demonstration Account,authorized$131,250 to
<br /> mplement the first phase of the Coalitions'Comprehen-
<br /> sive Livable Community Urban Design Framework and
<br /> Transportation Study.In addition,the Council authorized
<br /> a grant in the amount of$7,500 to assist the Coalition in
<br /> its sub-regional planning exercise. And MetroGIS ap-
<br /> proved a grant in the amount of$20,000 to acist the
<br /> Coalition complete its Phase II GIS work plan compo-
<br /> nent.
<br /> • Ramsey County has contributed$9,750 to pay for a
<br /> portion of the Coalition's administrative expenses. '?
