Minutes of the Economic Development Commission <br /> • City of Mounds View <br /> Ramsey County, Minnesota <br /> Regular Meeting <br /> December 14, 1995 <br /> Donatelle's Supper Club <br /> 2400 Highway 10, Mounds View, MN 55112 <br /> 1. Call to Order: <br /> The meeting was called to order at 6:07 p.m. by Chairperson, Phil Seipp. <br /> 2. Roll Call: <br /> Members present were as follows: Cindy Carlson, Peg Mountin, Phil Seipp, Delane Welsch and Ron <br /> Schmidt. In addition, Economic Development Coordinator Cathy Bennett and EDA liaison Sue <br /> Hankner were present. EDC Members Rosemary Goff and Dan Neslon were absent. <br /> 3. Approval Of Minutes: <br /> October 26, 1995: <br /> • Motion/Second: Welsch/Schmidt moved approval of Minutes of October 26, 1995 Meeting. <br /> Motion Carried 4 ayes 0 nays 1 abstain <br /> Member Carlson asked for a brief overview of the Metropolitan Livable Communities Act <br /> presentation that was given at the October 26, 1995 meeting since she was not a member at the <br /> time. Member Carlson specifically was interested in the funding accounts and what Mounds <br /> View needs to do to take advantage of these funds. Coordinator Bennett explained that there <br /> are three main funding account and that the Metropolitan Council is still working on the <br /> details. The City of Mounds View could be eligible for funds if a project was identified that met <br /> their objective. The City is keeping close tabs on this legislation. Member Carlson mentioned <br /> that she knows a Metropolitan Council Board Member if any assistance was needed in getting <br /> information on the program. <br /> November 16, 1995: <br /> Motion/Second: Welsch/Schmidt moved approval of Minutes of November 16, 1995 Meeting. <br /> Motion Carried 4 ayes 0 nays 1 abstain <br /> 4.
