Call to Order: <br /> The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Vice Chairperson, Cindy Carlson. <br /> 2. Roll Call: <br /> Members present were as follows: Cindy Carlson, Rosemary <br /> addition, Economic Development Coordinator Cathy Bennett Goff waspr se tJo MembersDan Nelberg and Ron son, Be, Ie <br /> v <br /> Terharlc and Delane Welsch and EDA Liaison Sue Hanlcner were absent. <br /> Nelson, <br /> 3. Approval Of Minutes: <br /> Motion/Second: Goff/Carlson moved approval of Minutes of January 25, 1996 Meeting. <br /> Motion Carried g <br /> • 4 ayes 0 nays <br /> 4. Special Business <br /> Introduction of new Commission Members: Vice Chairperson, Cindy Carlson welcomed new <br /> member Brian Sjoberg of Dynex Industries to the Commission. <br /> Ms. Clson noted had spoken to new member Bev Terharlc who regretfully was unable toaattend the meet she <br /> to a conflict. mg due <br /> 5. A. Discuss Prioritization of Hi•hwav 10 Redevelo.ment Pro.erties <br /> Coordinator Bennett explained that the EDA will be discussing the redevelopment of <br /> properties on Highway 10 at the upcoming work session in March and handed out a <br /> list of properties for the EDC's consideration. Coordinator Bennett noted that the <br /> EDC is being asked to evaluate current redevelopment opportunities and <br /> prioritize which properties would be most economically beneficial to apply <br /> existing staff time and funds to redevelop. <br /> After thorough discussion, the properties were put in two tiers. Tier one <br /> includes properties that have the most likelihood of materializing into projects <br /> and could economically benefit the City in the near future. Tier two are <br /> properties which pose constraints to redevelopment including legal and <br /> • <br /> 1 <br />
