Subd. 2, which allows for open or outdoor service, sales and rental as an <br /> accessory use with a conditional use permit. <br /> • • Section 1125.01, Subd. 1 e, which states that the Planning Commission shall consider <br /> possible adverse effects of proposed conditional uses. <br /> • Section 1125.01. Subd. lg, which states that the Planning Commission shall make findings <br /> of fact and recommend such actions or conditions relating to the request as it deems <br /> necessary to carry out the intent and purpose of the Zoning Code and forward such <br /> findings to the City Council. <br /> Attachments: Planning Application, dated 3/25/98 <br /> Zoning Map <br /> Site Plan <br /> Letter from Paster Enterprises, 2/10/98 <br /> Letter from City Attorney,dated 4/8/98 <br /> Resolution 543-98 <br /> Background: <br /> Craig Gilb, representing Merryville Farm Market, is requesting a conditional use permit to operate <br /> an outdoor produce stand in the parking lot of Moundsview Square Shopping Center from July <br /> 1, 1998 to September 30, 1998. The produce stand would be open seven days a week from 10:00 <br /> am to 7:00 pm. and would be selling produce home-grown from its farm in Waverly. The stand <br /> • is a five-sided gazebo-like structure with a canvas roof, and is 14 feet wide at its widest point and <br /> 9 feet high at the peak. The stand requires no utility hook-ups. The produce stand was granted a <br /> CUP the last two years at this same location. Staff is not aware of any problems associated with <br /> this operation. <br /> Analysis: <br />
