I will be meeting with the County and MSP on Tuesday to discuss alternatives. <br /> Looking at these current proposals for this section of Highway 10, the EDC should <br /> evaluate the following: <br /> ► Section 9 Redevelopment Plan Report as proposed by SRF Consulting. What <br /> were the alternative development scenarios for this area and what was the <br /> preferred alternative. <br /> ► What is the impact to the neighborhood. (Rehab of existing apartments, low <br /> income units, owner occupied units, commercial development without rehab of <br /> existing apartments.) <br /> ► Would the investment of EDA TIF funds be an appropriate use for this proposal <br /> and/or market rate owner occupied units or commercial use. <br /> ► What is the traffic impact of the different proposed uses. <br /> Representatives from MSP Real Estate will be at the meeting to answer questions. In • <br /> addition, I have invited Dr. Kevin Barcus, Mounds View Animal Hospital and Rob <br /> Hunt, Bil[man Hunt Funeral Home to the meeting so that they may be able to discuss <br /> their interests in the sites as well. <br /> • <br />
