REQUEST FOR PROPOSED SITE OR CAMPUS <br />FOR LIBERTY CHECK PRINTERS' HEADQUARTERS <br />Liberty Check Printers is seeking a site or campus of existing buildings at which to: <br />1. Consolidate all Twin Cities office operations, by mid -2001, into 70,000 to <br />100,000 square feet of office space with five parking spaces per thousand <br />square feet. <br />2. Add 50,000 to 100,000 square feet of additional office space in late 2003 or <br />early 2004, again with five per thousand parking. <br />3. Add 80,000 square feet of light industrial space in first quarter, 2004. <br />Preferably on the same campus as the office facility or facilities. <br />4. Accommodate growth beyond 2004. <br />Based in the Twin Cities, Liberty Check is among the nation's leading companies in <br />check printing, check and debit card technology, business products and marketing <br />services for credit unions and other financial services providers. Twin Cities' operations <br />are today in four facilities in Mounds View and Roseville. Liberty also has operations in <br />Wisconsin, Texas, California, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, Georgia and Missouri. <br />Of its 450 Twin Cities employees today, Liberty expects that more than 300 will move to <br />the consolidated headquarters facility upon occupancy in 2001. With the space additions <br />outlined above, Liberty Check's employment at the campus is expected to exceed 600 in <br />2004, and grow beyond that in the years thereafter. <br />Liberty Check requests your help to identify a site, one or more existing <br />buildings or a redevelopment location that can accommodate the initial <br />and subsequent needs outlined above. <br />Please respond with the following information for any property that may fulfill the need: <br />1. Location <br />2. Size of parcel(s) and any existing buildings. <br />3. Whether the property is currently available for sale or lease. <br />4. Current zoning. <br />5. Availability of utilities at or near the property. <br />6. Availability of fiber optic telecommunications service at or near the property. <br />7.
