Roll Call: <br />Members Present: Cindy Carlson, Tom Field, Rosemary Goff (Arrived Late), Wendy Marry, Julie <br />Olsen, Sean Walther, and EDA Liaison Dan Coughlin. <br />Members Absent: Dr. Gregory Belting <br />Staff Present: Community Development Director Rick Jopke and Economic Development <br />Coordinator Aaron Parrish. <br />3. Approval Of Minutes: <br />Motion/Second: Walther/Marty moved to approve the minutes from August 26th, 1999. <br />Motion Carried: 5 Ayes 0 Nays <br />Commissioner Goff was not present at this time. <br />4. Special Business <br />Chairperson Cindy Carlson welcomed EDA Liaison Dan Coughlin and Economic Development <br />Coordinator Aaron Parrish. <br />S. EDC BUSINESS <br />A. Election of 2000 Chairperson and Vice Chairperson <br />The Mounds View Municipal Code Chapter 408.07, Subdivision 1 entitled Economic <br />Development Commission. Organization states that "at the first regular meeting of the year, <br />the Commission shall appoint a chairperson from among its voting members and that this <br />appointment shall be subject to Authority approval and shall consist of a one year term". <br />Motion/Second: Carlson/Walther moved to approve the appointment of Tom Field as <br />Chairperson for 2000. <br />Motion Carried 5 ayes 0 nays <br />Commissioner Goff not present at this time. <br />N:\DATA\GROUPS\ECONDEV\EDC\Minutes\Min00\January.doc <br />
