<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 6592 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE MEDTRONIC PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT (PUD) <br />GENERAL CONCEPT PLAN; PLANNING CASE NO. PD2005-002 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Medtronic, Inc., has submitted an application for a Planned Unit <br />Development (PUD) for an 820,000 square foot corporate office campus on 72 acres of land <br />and is requesting approval of the PUD general concept plan; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the land to be developed by Medtronic represents the City’s Bridges Golf <br />Course located north of Trunk Highway 10 at 8390 Coral Sea Street, legally described as <br />follows: <br /> <br />Refer to Exhibit A <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a duly noticed public hearing on this matter on <br />August 22, 2005; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council has reviewed Chapter 1120 of the Mounds <br />View Municipal Code pertaining to planned unit developments; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View City Council has reviewed the land use component of <br />the Comprehensive Plan relative to this request; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed the site plans dated <br />July 26, 2005, relative to this request. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council, finding <br />that the general concept plan of the proposed Medtronic Planned Unit Development is <br />consistent with the Comprehensive Plan and the Municipal Code, approves said general <br />concept plan. <br /> <br />Adopted this 22nd day of August, 2005 <br /> <br /> <br />_______________________________________ <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />____________________________________ <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Clerk / Administrator <br />(SEAL) <br />
