Monday, June 13, 2005 City Council Agenda. 22 <br /> 23 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Thomas/Stigney To Approve the Monday, June 13, 2005 agenda as 24 <br />presented. 25 <br /> 26 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 27 <br /> 28 <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT 29 <br /> 30 <br />Duane McCarty, 8060 Long Lake Road, stated that it is his understanding that there are more 31 <br />detailed documents now available that are relevant to the Medtronic proposal. He stated that he 32 <br />has the original synopsis of the proposal adding that he would like to have a copy of the detailed 33 <br />documents. 34 <br /> 35 <br />City Administrator Ulrich stated that he would be able to provide Mr. McCarty with a copy 36 <br />tomorrow. 37 <br /> 38 <br />David Jahnke, 8428 Eastwood Road, stated that he would like to share a bit of information with 39 <br />the Council. He stated that he owns 40-acres on Highway 65 and several large developers are 40 <br />interested in developing the land. He indicated that he asked one of the developers why they 41 <br />weren’t interested in making a deal on this land to develop it. He stated that the response he 42 <br />received was that there was no way any of the developers could compete or get the kind of 43 <br />concessions that Medtronic got to develop the roads and land. He noted that the comment was 44
