<br /> <br /> <br /> <br />MOUNDS VIEW PLANNING COMMISSION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 815-05 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE MEDTRONIC DEVELOPMENT <br />STAGE PLANS, THE MEDTRONIC CRM PRELIMINARY PLAT AND THE REZONING <br />OF THE PROJECT AREA FROM LIGHT INDUSTRIAL TO PLANNED UNIT <br />DEVELOPMENT; PLANNING CASES PD2005-002 AND MA2005-02 <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Medtronic, Inc., has submitted an application for a Planned Unit <br />Development (PUD) for an 1,500,000 square foot corporate office campus on 72 acres of land <br />and is requesting approval of the PUD development stage plans; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Medtronic, Inc., has submitted an application for a Major Subdivision of the <br />project area to support the requested Planned Unit Development; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the land to be developed by Medtronic represents the City’s Bridges Golf <br />Course located north of Highway 10 and west of Interstate 35W at 8290 Coral Sea Street, <br />legally described as follows: <br /> <br />Refer to Exhibit A <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council held a duly noticed public hearing on August 22, 2005 and <br />at this meeting approved the general concept plans for the Medtronic PUD; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed Chapter 1120 of the <br />Mounds View Municipal Code pertaining to planned unit developments; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed Chapter 1120 and <br />Title 1200 of the Mounds View Municipal Code relating to PUDs and subdivisions of land, <br />respectively; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The Mounds View Planning Commission has reviewed the development <br />stage plans and preliminary plat date-stamped September 9, 2005, relative to this request. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View Planning Commission, <br />recognizing that the general concept plans have been approved, makes the following findings <br />of fact related to the Medtronic development stage plans, preliminary plat and rezoning <br />request: <br /> <br />1. The development stage plans are consistent with the approved general concept <br />stage plans. <br />2. The development stage plans satisfy all codes, requirements and regulations.
