PUBLIC INPUT 29
30
Rick Perrozzi, 7791 Groveland Road, referenced the action taken by the EDA to authorize the 31
demolition of 7861 Groveland Road. He suggested the Council consider asking Habitat for 32
Humanity to construct a home or the VoTec School to use the house as training for students to 33
fix it up. 34
35
Mr. Perrozzi stated he owns the PAK building, which is a nightmare. He stated he requested and 36
received a plan from Velmeir but it is too small to read. He then requested a larger sized plan but 37
has not yet received it. Mr. Perrozzi he has been told he was not an engineer so he hired an 38
engineer. He asked if the Council would direct the City engineer to meet with his engineer to try 39
and resolve this issue. 40
41
Mr. Perrozzi stated he had four tenants who wanted to rent the building and with those rent 42
proceeds, we could have fixed the building. However he lost those tenants, the income to fix the 43
building, and wants to straighten this out. Mr. Perrozzi asked whether it was a City engineer or a 44
contracted engineer who approved this plan. 45
