Resolution 6632, Medtronic Wetland Alteration Permit Approval 20 <br /> 21 <br />Mayor Marty referenced the Rice Creek Watershed District (RCWD) permit application, 22 <br />Findings #2, indicates: “The proposed stormwater management includes two NURP ponds, three 23 <br />infiltration basins and 20 depressed pervious areas…” He stated that Exhibit #4 was new to him 24 <br />and asked when the City knew about the depressed pervious areas. 25 <br /> 26 <br />Director Ericson stated it was always the intention to utilize the surface parking area with 27 <br />greenspace areas in the island to collect storm water from the parking lot. He stated it may not 28 <br />have been highlighted but was always part of the original project. 29 <br /> 30 <br />Mayor Marty referenced information from Pinnacle Engineering, Figure #1, Alternative 1, that 31 <br />shows a building site and trailway through the triangular Outlot A. He stated this is news to him. 32 <br />He stated there is also a building on the right hand edge of the property through an existing 33 <br />pond/wetland. Mayor Marty stated he knows this is not Medtronic’s plan and hopes it does not 34 <br />come to fruition. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Director Ericson explained that Figure #1 reflects one of the earliest plans by RLK before 37 <br />Medtronic was even involved. It was an example of how a building of a certain size could be 38 <br />placed on the property but it was never the intention to encroach into City land. 39 <br /> 40 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Stigney.
