RESOLUTION 6176 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING SQUAD CAR PURCHASE <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department maintains a replacement schedule of police <br />vehicles, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Mounds View Police Department planned and budgeted for replacement of two <br />squad cars in 2004, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the replacement cost of two squad cars was budgeted in 2004 at an estimated <br />$22,000.00 each, plus equipment and set up, and; <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Superior Ford was awarded the state bid for the 2004 Ford Crown Victoria Police <br />Interceptor Package for 2004 at an approximate cost of $20,312.00 each. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council for the City of Mounds View <br />authorizes the purchase of two 2004 Ford Crown Victoria police vehicles under the state bid at an <br />approximate cost of $20,312.00 each, for a total cost of $40,624.00, plus tax, registration, and <br />any license fees. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 26th day of January 2004. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Jerry Linke, Mayor <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />ATTEST: ____________________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />(seal) <br /> <br /> <br />
