There was <br />little discussion on this topic, as City Council members were not provided the <br />original report and background information. Attached is the Work Session report <br />from January 5, 2004. <br /> <br /> <br />Discussion: <br />On August 26, 2002, the City Council approved resolution No. 5824 adopting the <br />County Road 10 Redevelopment Project Plans as prepared by URS. The City <br />Council recently named developing this project as a strategic goal on the City <br />Council Priority List for 2004. <br /> <br />While the overall corridor plan for County Road 10 has been developed, the <br />details on how to implement it have yet to be determined. Given the complexities <br />of such a plan and the expertise needed in developing the implementation plan, <br />Staff is recommending that the City send out a request for proposal (RFP) to <br />solicit help in developing it. <br /> <br />The proposal would be for Staff to develop the RFP and present it to the City <br />Council on February 23, 2004 for review, discussion, and approval. Staff will then <br />post it and send it out to qualified firms. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
